For People that are Tired of Being Sick and Tired – The Atlas Solution is the Answer

“To help restore a person’s health is a great gift and a responsibility that I do not take lightly.
Watching a patient regain their health is a beautiful thing.” Patrick E. Kerr, D.C., B.C.A.O

Migraines, pinched nerves, neck and shoulder pain, high blood pressure and hypertension- Is it any surprise that thousands of New Yorkers suffer from one or more of these symptoms? Even less surprising is that few of the busiest people in America’s busiest city know that a simple, non-invasive solution could change their lives.

Like the mythical Atlas, balancing the world on his shoulders, our 2-ounce C-1 vertebrae, or atlas bone supports the entire human head which can weigh 9 to 17 pounds. The atlas is located directly under the head, connecting the head to the rest of the spine.

The atlas supports the weight of the head most efficiently in the orthogonal, or neutral position. Atlas orthogonal is an engineering term referring to the position of the atlas being 90 degrees to the head and neck.

So what could this mean to you? A few degrees of misalignment of the atlas could be the cause of a host of problems. If you suffer chronic back, neck or shoulder pain or if you’ve been involved in a recent car accident or sports injury, a misaligned atlas is not likely to show up in most medical tests. The only way to know for sure is to have an evaluation with Dr. Patrick Kerr.

Dr. Kerr takes all x-rays himself and the treatment is non-invasive and completely painless.

Dr. Kerr
I have had pain in my neck for some time. I was not happy with jerking of my head as a solution by a chiropractor. Was injured as small child and have also been told by a doctor that it was arthritis and exercise was the answer. Needless to say, I am still in pain. I also have what was told to me meraligia paresthetica. Could these two problems be conected? Is there anyone in my area that can help and is this procedure covered by insurance? I look forward to your response. Thank you. Linda Strong

I have a friend who sustained atlas damage in an auto accident years ago and has never recovered from the injury yet continues to live with the damage and pain. Is there a possibility that medicare would cover treatment?

I was watching THE DOCTORS on the 25th of Nov. Chronic pain from head and neck injuries. By the time Heidi told her story about her accident,I had became all ears and eyes. I have been off work for 8 weeks. I slipped and fall at work. I hit the back of my head on a sink. The head aches have been unbearable. I am not sleeping good. I wake up with a throbbing head. My neck is stiff, and I am dizzy. A freind says there is a Doctor 24 miles away. Thank-you Dr.Kerr and Hiedi.

This is the greatest thing I have seen yet. Both myself and
I hope my husband would benefit from this. He suffers
from chronic back problems. Epidurals don’t help. We live
in Illinois. Are their any of these doctors in Illinois that does this procedure?

I live in Atlanta GA and since Dr Kerr specialized here, is there somewhere you can advise to go for this treatment. I suffer from neck pain everyday and at night I can’t even lay my head on my husband’s chest! Please help!

As the daughter of a chirporactor, I have always had a perfect neck, yet after a NYC taxi accident I have the pleasure of having something I have seen in horrific posters since childhhood- whiplash!! Not only has Dr. Kerr met the expectations of a critical thinker, but, he has amist all of my own sabotages……. corrected my neck. This man has developed a method of treating patients with skill & love that works, in short he knows what he is doing, and for this I am thankful. If you are in NYC or the area- he is the Dr.- no questions.

I have had the good fortune of receiving treatment from Dr. Kerr. His procedure cured me of chronic neck pain and headaches. I had a herniated disk in my cervical spine that Dr. Kerr was able to realign, thus relieving me of the chronic pain I was suffering. Thank you, Dr. Kerr. I refer my patients to you as frequently as I am able. It is a joy to work with someone as competent and educated as you are.

Dr. Kerr helped me recover from whiplash after years of chronic pain that affected every aspect of my life. After one treatment I knew I was on the road to recovery. He is warm and personable and addresses the needs of every patient in a thoughtful and thorough way. I would recommend anyone who has a history of chronic neck and back issues to an analysis by Dr. Kerr.

Dear Dr. Kerr,

After seeing Montel Williams on Oprah the other day he said something about relief of his pain and getting his balance. I desperately wanted to know what meds he was on and came across this and hope this is what he was referring to. I also suffer from ms and use a full leg brace and cane. I am 47 years old and feel my life is just passing me by because I am so nervous of falling which I did lately and my face slammed into a brick wall. I have a foot drop which makes me hyper-extend my knee, severe numbness of both feet, balance problems etc…it would be a miracle if I could lead somewhat of a normal life. Do you think I would be a good canidate for this
procedure.
