“To help restore a person’s health is a great gift and a responsibility that I do not take lightly.
Watching a patient regain their health is a beautiful thing.” Patrick E. Kerr, D.C., B.C.A.O
Migraines, pinched nerves, neck and shoulder pain, high blood pressure and hypertension- Is it any surprise that thousands of New Yorkers suffer from one or more of these symptoms? Even less surprising is that few of the busiest people in America’s busiest city know that a simple, non-invasive solution could change their lives.
Like the mythical Atlas, balancing the world on his shoulders, our 2-ounce C-1 vertebrae, or atlas bone supports the entire human head which can weigh 9 to 17 pounds. The atlas is located directly under the head, connecting the head to the rest of the spine.
The atlas supports the weight of the head most efficiently in the orthogonal, or neutral position. Atlas orthogonal is an engineering term referring to the position of the atlas being 90 degrees to the head and neck.
So what could this mean to you? A few degrees of misalignment of the atlas could be the cause of a host of problems. If you suffer chronic back, neck or shoulder pain or if you’ve been involved in a recent car accident or sports injury, a misaligned atlas is not likely to show up in most medical tests. The only way to know for sure is to have an evaluation with Dr. Patrick Kerr.
Dr. Kerr takes all x-rays himself and the treatment is non-invasive and completely painless.

If you can google “board certified orthgonist florida” (insert your particular state) can we come up with a doctor that uses this awesome therapy? It’s gonna help millions of people!
This is the greatest thing I have seen yet. Both myself and
I hope my husband would benefit from this. He suffers
from chronic back problems. Epidurals don’t help. We live
in Illinois. Are their any of these doctors in Illinois that does this procedure?
As the daughter of a chirporactor, I have always had a perfect neck, yet after a NYC taxi accident I have the pleasure of having something I have seen in horrific posters since childhhood- whiplash!! Not only has Dr. Kerr met the expectations of a critical thinker, but, he has amist all of my own sabotages……. corrected my neck. This man has developed a method of treating patients with skill & love that works, in short he knows what he is doing, and for this I am thankful. If you are in NYC or the area- he is the Dr.- no questions.
Ann at Dr. Kerr’s office is also a joy, most instrumental in keeping the office running smoothly, and monitoring the music, thankfully sqeezing in Opera and my emergency appointments when she can.- tks!
Dr. Kerr helped me recover from whiplash after years of chronic pain that affected every aspect of my life. After one treatment I knew I was on the road to recovery. He is warm and personable and addresses the needs of every patient in a thoughtful and thorough way. I would recommend anyone who has a history of chronic neck and back issues to an analysis by Dr. Kerr.
